Total duration of the action:  36 months

Projected implementation from field work launching to closing of the action: from 1 March 2015 to 28 February 2018

Objective of the action:

To improve the living conditions of children / youth migrant workers in West Africa through a sustainable integration in the labor market and coordinated access to basic social services.

To ensure social inclusion of 14,000 children / young migrant workers living on the borders between Mali, Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast in the implementation of a national and transnational mechanism of coordination along the above mentioned borders (origin, transit and destination).

 

Final beneficiaries: 14,000 children / young migrant workers living on the borders  between Mali, Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast

 

Expected results: 

R1. Children / youth and communities know the risks associated with work in particular in the context of migration and collaborate in the identification and reporting of child workers protection workers to the authorized services

R2. The capacities of 2,000 state and non- state actors are strengthened to ensure support and monitoring of quality of children / young migrant workers

R3. The capacities of 2,000 state and non- state actors are strengthened to ensure support and monitoring

quality of living conditions of children / young migrant workers

R4. 4000 children / youth workers have access to professional training programs , development of life skills , education, and job assistance in their areas of origin
