I have been dedicating my efforts to EU-related interests in Serbia for the past three years due to the significant impact it has on the region's development, stability, and its cultural and historical ties to the European continent.
My work is closely aligned with the European perspective of the Western Balkans. This involves providing support and expertise to various projects aimed at strengthening the country's institutions, enhancing the rule of law, and ensuring that Serbia aligns with EU standards and regulations. The ultimate goal is to help Serbia progress towards EU membership, which brings numerous economic, political, and cultural benefits.
In addition to my role with the Council of Europe, my volunteer work at the Museum of the Nineties allows me to delve deeper into the local history and culture. This, in turn, enhances my understanding of the complex historical and cultural dynamics in Serbia and the Western Balkans, which are integral to the EU integration process. By immersing myself in the cultural and historical aspects of Serbia, I can contribute more effectively to bridging the gap between the country and the European Union.
Overall, my work is driven by a passion for promoting peace, stability, and cultural understanding in this region, while also furthering Serbia's progress towards becoming a part of the European family. I believe that this alignment of values and goals is crucial for the future development of Serbia and the broader European community.
I hold a Master of Science in European Political Governance from the prestigious University of Utrecht in the Netherlands. Prior to that, I successfully completed my Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and History at the University of Lyon in France. I've also completed Prince2 Project Management training and am accredited with a Project Management Foundation Certification.
I previously worked as a consultant at DT-Global and am fully familiar with EU-funded project procedures and EU Development-related policies.
During my previous professional engagements, I gained valuable experience in project and team management and developed an in-depth understanding of the historical and political situation in the ENI-Western Balkans region. I have a keen sense for predicting and preventing problems and evaluating risks. Negotiations and acting as a liaison are some of my strongest skills. I am fluent in English and Spanish, while French is my mother tongue. Currently, I am intensively learning Serbocroat.
