Objective: To introduce the PFD to participants, presenting its main goals, on-going work and relevance to encourage further policy dialogue amongst stakeholders. This interactive session will include PFD Task Team members and invite participation from the audience.

4. Matching Africa's and Europe’s Development Agendas: how to enhance our partnership |
Objective: To debate whether Africa is on track as regards its developmental goals. This session will review key development policies for Africa including Agenda 2063 and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and coherence and co-ordination with National Development and Urbanisation Plans.

6. From the AU-EU Summit of November 2017 to today: the evolving AU-EU partnership |
Objective: To review the November 2017 AU-EU Summit. The panel will discuss:
Objective: This panel will set the context for the subsequent parallel sessions; speakers will also cover the progress made since the Summit on various issues the specific issues, including youth, peace and security, migration and mobility, and governance, and briefly look at the ensuring Africa-Europe Alliance for sustainable investment and jobs.

7. Roundtables: Issue-focused review of the AU-EU Summit – key outcomes, implications and recommendations |
Objective: To allow deeper reflection on the key outcomes of the AU-EU Summit on the basis of the previous plenary session. These roundtables will be guided by a brief presentation from the speakers and aim to propose specific recommendations.

Objective: To focus on what should be reflected in the new EU-ACP Partnership Agreement as an introduction to panel 9.

9. Panel on the post 2020 EU-ACP and EU-Africa relations |
Objective: To reflect on the Cotonou Agreement: past, present and future goals. The Panel will debate key aspects of the proposal for a new partnership agreement in the context of other existing intra-continental arrangements. It will look at the respective European and ACP's negotiation mandates, at the African region’s preparation, and the involvement of various African constituents in the negotiation process for a renewed partnership.
