2016 Joint DEVCO B1/B3 Workshop "Leave no one behind: reaching children, women and persons with disabilities through EU development cooperation".
This training course was jointly organised by DEVCO B1 and B3 to equip EU staff with relevant knowledge, understanding and skills to promote gender equality (implementing the new Gender Action Plan 2016-2020); mainstream child rights and promoting the inclusion and the human rights of persons with disabilities in EU external action and development cooperation.
Day 1 :context and policy framework that guiding EU work on inequalities, human rights and anti-discrimination (focusing on gender, child rights, and rights of persons with disabilities); the challenges in their implementation, the link with the SDGs and practical group exercises.
Day 2: mainstreaming the fight against inequalities (gender, child rights and persons with disabilities) at every stage of the Project Cycle Management, with practical exercises.
Day 3: how to implement the new Gender Action Plan 2016-2020.
