I have been working in the field of international relations for over 20 years either in conflict resolution or development cooperation, most of the time abroad, including the Middle-East and Africa. Strengthening the capacities of organisations and people so that they can determine their own future has always been my passion. 

I'm a strong believer in team work and achieving goals together, while at the same time taking full responsibility for my own actions. I'm solution focussed and result driven without forgetting that you have to take into account the people you work for/ with, the context and your work environment.
