The theme of the workshop is "Transitioning from emergency response to resilience building: is it working "?
EU Pro-Resilience Action (PRO-ACT) Food Security Thematic Programme Crisis Prevention and Post-Crisis Response Strategy.
This event informed GBEG region project managers on emerging innovative programmatic trends in the GUN region, and sensitized PRO-ACT projects in the GUN region on resilience measures underway with EU funded projects in the GBEG region. Selected project managers from each region attended and made presentations reviewing their project strategies and highlighting successful innovations and challenges to the realization of their regional programme’s short to medium term results. This event was organised by the European Union Delegation to Juba on behalf of EU funded project partners in the GUN region. PRO-ACT project managers were invited to reflect on what has changed over the past five months since the approval of their projects, identify good practices and ways how they can learn and benefit from the experience developed by the EU funded projects in the GBEG region.
