Here is a report of the learning event hosted by the European Commission and CfBT Education Trust in October 2011: 'Inter-agency seminar on education and political economy (PE) analysis'. As a result of the seminar, 45 experienced practitioners were able to gain a better understanding of what PE analysis is and what it might offer for the design and implementation of their education work in fragile states.

Trade Facilitation in the Philippines - pilot case study
This short case study is based on the findings of a week of interviews with a range of trade facilitation stakeholders in the Philippines conducted in mid-November 2010, conducted by the EU Delegation in the Philippines with the support of an ECDPM consultant. The study was conceived as a pilot for field-testing an approach to assessing and addressing governance issues found at the level of different sectors.
