New policy on EU Budget Support
On 13 October 2011, the European Commission has adopted a new Communication on The Future Approach to EU Budget Support to Third Countries aimed at modernizing the approach of budget support. Duke University accepting applications for Budgeting and Financial Mgmt training program
The Duke Center for International Development (DCID) will conduct the program on Budgeting and Financial Management in the Public Sector (BUDGET) at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, U.S., July 22 – August 10, 2012. The three-week program is organized around four modules—budget and the national economy, budget processes and frameworks, budgeting and financial management techniques, and public sector reform. The program is a combination of theoretical concepts and techniques, and practical applications based on experience in the field.

Developing a tool to assess tax administration performance - Feasibility study
Study commissioned by the PEFA Secretariat, carried out by Willian Crandall and finalised in May 2011 that reviews existing tools and examines the opportunity and feasibility to have a specific PEFA-type assessment grid for tax administration, that would be a drill down from, or a companion to, the "parent" PEFA PFM Performance Management Framework.
