    Experience includes:

    General Physician in a Colombian rural hospital, District health director in Colombia, regional director of epidemiology in Colombia with the MoH. Project coordinator of a medical primary health care project in Sudan. Country medical coordinator for 8 humanitarian projects in Sudan. Project coordinator for a sleeping sickness program in Uganda including several scientific publications on the subject. Country manager for humanitarian medical programs in Uganda and Zaire, reception of arriving refugees (Rwandese, Zairian, Ugandan and Sudanese, arriving to Uganda or Zaire), handling of epidemics of cholera, meningitis and measles. Country manager for humanitarian medical programs in Mozambique. Consultant in public Health with Aedes and Epicentre. Director of Operations for the overall projects of an humanitarian medical private association, Médecins Sans Frontières. For two and a half years, International Training Co-ordinator for Médecins Sans Frontières.     Master in public health MScPH, attempt of a PhD cutted short :o( Public Health PreDeployment course and several short courses and diplomas on humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, including those offered by Epicentre. I speak fluently English, French and Spanish and have a basic level of other languages including Arabic and Portuguese. I have worked with the MoH, WHO, ECHO, MSF. I am familiar with a wide variety of emergency settings (conflict, natural disaster, famine, epidemics.) in several continents.
